Effective cold protection for camellias in pots and gardens

The high-quality mat made of firmly needle-punched sheep's wool felt reliably protects your camellias in the pot or in the garden from cold, frost and wind. The renewable natural raw material sheep's wool has the best heat-insulating properties and is extremely breathable - the insulating properties are retained even if the felt mat gets wet because air cushions remain between the fibers.

In order for your camellias to survive the cold winter temperatures, they need to be properly protected. This eco-felt mat made of pure sheep's wool is wrapped around the plant pot, thereby reducing the risk of the root ball freezing and ensuring that your camellias get through the winter well.
  • effective, natural protection against cold and frost
  • Made of high-quality, firmly needle-punched felt
  • (100% sheep wool)
  • with the best heat-insulating properties, breathable
  • easy to cut with scissors
  • can be used for several years
  • 300g/m²
  • made in Austria

With the tear-resistant, weather-resistant jute cord made of natural jute fiber in a length of 50 m, you can easily and safely pack your plants.

If you buy a camellia at the same time, the set is free of charge.

Always well packaged

How we ship

Quality testing

Each camellia is carefully checked before shipping and, in addition to the plant passport, receives a weatherproof aluminum variety label.

No drying out

Each plant is watered thoroughly before shipping. The plant pot is then covered with a plastic bag to prevent the root ball from drying out.

Protectively packaged

The camellia is then carefully wrapped in newspaper or wrapping paper so that the leaves, buds and flowers are well protected.

No slipping

The camellia is fixed in the cardboard box so that it cannot slip.

Shatterproof cardboard boxes

Our camellias are shipped in specially made, sturdy cardboard boxes and can therefore arrive to you intact and in excellent condition.

Safe in the truck

We ship particularly large camellias via a shipping company. Here too, the plants are excellently packaged.

Freight forwarding delivery

For very large camellias with a height of 1.50 to 2.30 meters, shipping is carried out by a shipping company. The very well packaged camellia is transported standing on a Euro pallet. The delivery time within Germany is 2-3 days; within Europe up to 1 week. The transport costs are calculated individually depending on where you live. Please contact us by phone or email before ordering.

About Us

I bought my first camellia over 20 years ago. At that time I had my office next to the Palmengarten in Frankfurt and regularly visited the various plant exhibitions. This also applies to the camellia exhibition in February. I was enchanted by the blaze of color, the wonderful flower shapes and the elegant habit of the camellias and couldn't decide which of the many I should take home with me. It was difficult to choose the most beautiful camellia from such a variety. For me it became Jury's Yellow, which accompanied me for many years and even endured on our roof terrace during the particularly hot summer of 2003.
